Job description

They are now looking for a Structural Engineer to join their Manchester office.

This is an exciting chance for an engineer with a passion for structural design and problem-solving to work on diverse, high-profile projects, including residential, education, and secure infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivering structural design packages, from initial concepts to detailed design and final completion
  • Manage aspects of project scope, budgets, timelines, and deliverables under senior guidance
  • Contribute to fee proposals and assist with business development activities
  • Work closely with the team to ensure designs meet technical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in project development, ensuring all client expectations are met and exceeded
  • Assist in developing junior engineers and trainees, supporting their growth within the team

Essential Experience & Skills

  • BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • A genuine interest in structural design and the built environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work effectively in team
  • Familiarity with building regulations and UK construction processes
  • Actively working towards Chartership (IStructE or ICE)
  • Previous experience working on projects in the range of £250k-£5m is an advantage but not essential
