Job Title: Bridge Project Manager
 
Salary: £75,000-£80,000
 
Location: East London, UK
 
Are you an experienced Project Manager who has knowledge of bridges and infrastructure and looking for your next opportunity?
 
My client are responsible for a major highways contract in London and are looking for an experienced Bridge Project Manager to join the team and assist on the delivery of bridge and infrastructure projects as part of the wider contract. Key Responsibilities:
 
·Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the bridge project, from planning and design to construction and completion.
·Team Management: Lead a cross-functional team, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and adherence to project timelines.
·Budget and Resource Management: Responsible for budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control to ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
·Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project progresses smoothly.
·Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, including managing client feedback and altering the project as and when needed
·Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality in design and construction, ensuring compliance with regulations, client expectations and industry best practices.
·Timeline Management: Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
 
Key Requirements:
 
·Experience in project management within the construction industry is essential
·Experience in the bridges and infrastructure industry is essential
·Demonstrable experience working for a highways contractor is desirable but not essential
·Qualifications in Civil/Structural Engineering or related fields
·Good time-keeping skills and the ability to work under pressure
·Familiarity with industry best practices and regulations
·A strong ability to communicate with a team and problem-solve when required
