This is a fantastic opportunity to work client side on HS2. There is x3 positions - x1 Lead Assurance Engineer and x2 Technical Assurance Managers.
Location: Birmingham - 2 days office, rest from home
Rate: Lead Assurance Engineer - £700 - £750 umbrella
Technical Assurance Manager - £550-£600 umbrella
Job Role:
The lead assurance engineer will need extensive experience on working on the later part of the system assurance V - extensive working knowledge of acceptance and handover. Will be involved in writing of the technical assurance plan at this stage. Will be leading a team of 5 people. Leading across all systems - civils, stations, systems, rolling stocks, utilities, on networks.
 
The technical assurance manager role would suit candidates who have a systems engineering background and are confident in the system assurance 1-4 and 8-10. Will be working on framework on end to end assurance of system assurance NOT assurance of the contractor deliverables.
This is a real exciting opportunity with ability to shape the system assurance of HS2. Working on stations, civils, rolling stock and Phase 2b Hybrid bill.
