My client is currently looking for a Associate Transport Planner to be based in London.The company are currently flexible with remote working.

The Associate Transport Planner will manage and produce technical studies within the Transport Planning function. The role demands a proactive approach in a team environment and offers substantial opportunity for career progression within the company.
 
The Associate Transport Planner will be expected to be technically competent in analysing various transport or development-related projects and be able to manage a number of projects and project teams simultaneously. The Associate will be the day to day contact for Clients and will be expected to develop and manage key accounts.  The Associate Transport Planner will be expected to be able to identify business opportunities and to develop these into new business for the AG. They will lead the technical excellence of the team and can expect considerable experience on a variety of interesting and challenging projects.
Duties:
 
·Managing existing Clients and Client accounts.
·Developing new Clients and Client Accounts.
·Financial and Technical management of projects.
·Project management.
·Developing innovative transport solutions.
·Proactively contributing to the technical development of the transport function of the business.
·Providing project management and technical support and advice within the business in order to:
 
i.Develop the project management skills of other staff;
ii.Develop the technical skills of other staff; and
iii.Ensure consistency in project mangement and technical quality from other staff.
·Commercial and technical management of projects ensuring that projects are managed effectively within budgetary constraints.
·Financial management of projects within the financial management processes.
·Expert knowledge of junction modelling programs, such as JUNCTIONS, LINSIG and TRANSYT, as well as the TRICS database.
·Identify and develop business opportunities.
·Pro-actively win work for themselves and the wider team.
·Preparation of fee proposals.
