Are you an Associate Structural Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity in Manchester?

Due to a healthy workload my client is looking for a passionate structural engineer at associate level to come in and support the team of existing engineers and technicians.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects including residential, retail, office and mixed-use buildings.

Role/Responsibilities

• Proven experience in designing a variety of schemes from inception to completion
• Have a good understanding of British Standards and Euro Codes as well as UK Building regulations
• Ability to work with other design team members and clients in the design process
• A solid understanding and experience in the delivery or all infrastructure aspects of projects from both a technical approval and client viewpoint
• Supporting and developing junior staff members
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Qualifications/Experience

• Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Structural Engineering
• Chartered or near Chartered status (MICE or MIStructE)
• You will have a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
• Experience using Tekla Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, AutoCAD and Revit
• Have a strong project history within large developments
