Associate Electrical Engineer - Building Services (London)
If you're a professionally minded Electrical Engineer who enjoys owning work, supporting others and helping a team perform at its best, this is a strong opportunity to step into an Associate level position within a growing building services consultancy.
You'll be joining at a time where the London team is expanding, and there is a clear route to Directorship for someone who wants to combine technical leadership with client development and team growth. This is a role for an engineer who wants to be trusted, valued, and genuinely influential in how projects are delivered.
The Role
You'll take responsibility for electrical design delivery across multiple schemes, working closely with colleagues and clients to drive successful outcomes.
You will:
·Lead electrical design from concept through to delivery, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and best practice
·Coordinate with mechanical, structural and architectural teams to deliver fully integrated solutions
·Mentor and support engineers, carrying out technical reviews and helping develop capability within the team
·Attend site for surveys, technical reviews and progress checks where required
·Produce specifications, calculations and reports, communicating clearly with clients and stakeholders
·Support bids, fee proposals and resourcing, contributing to sustainable team growth
·Embed energy-efficient, low-carbon thinking into designs and project decisions

What You'll Bring
·Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
·Strong consultancy experience in building services design
·Solid understanding of UK regulations and relevant standards
·Confidence managing multiple projects and engaging professionally with clients
·A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in supporting junior engineers
·CEng, or actively working towards it
