Urgent requirement for an Assistant Project Manager to join a private sector consultancy based in London, with the opportunity to be involved in some exciting schemes.
 
The role will involve supporting the delivery of schemes for a local authority on their Low Traffic Neighbourhood & Healthy School Street Programme. This is a contract until the end of March 2022, with a possibility of extension.
 
 
The role
·Assisting the Programme Lead with day-to-day activities
·Managing and updating project programme and risk register
·Consultation - preparing documents, analysing feedback and responding to members of the public and stakeholders
·Co-ordination with otherCouncil Teams
·Report writing
·Planning and arranging pre and post scheme monitoring
·Keeping accurate records and tracking scheme progression/delivery and monitoring
 
 
The ideal candidate
·Ideally degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline
·Minimum 2 years post qualifying experience
·Experience within the public sector working on street schemes is highly desirable  
·Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
