Role: Assistant Drainage and Water Engineer
Salary:  £19,000
Location: Leeds
Standard working week: 37.5 hours
 
 
Our client a large and highly respected utilities contractor is looking for Water Survey Assistants to work on their waste water contracts.

The nature of the role will be working in crews of 2 or 3 surveying the waste water networks, specifically installing flow monitoring equipment.  Anyone with experience on waste water treatment works, sewers, CCTV, water jetting would be a good fit, but no experience is necessary for this position.  Typical project delivery is focused around installing flow monitors in on the waste water networks ( sewers) and may also include water sample collection.
 
Successful candidates will be expected to work away on occasion, the role will mainly involve local work ,but could involve working in places like the London, Norfolk and Manchester. Accommodation and food will be provided if you are away. Please ensure you are fully happy with this before you apply as you will likely stay away 2-3 days a week.
All hotels and meal allowances are paid for up front so in theory you should not need to spend anything while you're away.

The pay rate will be £19,000 per annum based on a 37.5 hours working week + overtime  paid at X1.5 Subsistence for any stay away work is paid at £40 per day.
