Job description

Our client is looking for Assistant Account Manager to assist in the management and development of business opportunities in line with the business plan, creating consistency and ensuring quality standards are met for clients and contributing to achieving company financial targets.
 
Main accountabilities:
·Build, develop and maintain relationships with new and existing external clients that create business opportunities across all areas of the business to support an ongoing collaborative relationship.
·Manage relationships through project delivery for new and existing clients ensuring delivery meets client's requirements.
·Develop an understanding of clients' requirements through networking and building relationships across the industry.
·Work collaboratively across the business to meet client's requirements within the context of business priorities and capacities to offer a viable commercial solution.
·Review information received from across the business to ensure accurate and consistent tender / quotations for services are submitted to external clients within specified deadlines.
·Support the Account Manager on day to day issues resolving and negotiating changes during project delivery to ensure financial targets are met and client satisfaction maintained.
 
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
·Previous experience within an Account Management environment or similar experience in a construction related industry.
·Experience of influencing and communicating within internal and external organisations.
·Experience of building long term profitable relationships between businesses.
·Awareness of commercial and financial practice with previous experience of operating in a commercial role.
·Ability to plan, make decisions and solve problems to react to outcomes in a work environment
