Asbestos Surveyor

Who will you be joining?  
East Midlands based Local Authority are looking for an Asbestos Surveyor to join their current team of surveyors responsible for sampling and surveying their domestic stock. This district council are a flexible and inclusive employer with a steady workflow for the next 6 months. 
 
What will you do? 
Within this role you will have a versatile list of responsibilities which includes the following:  
·Carrying out surveys of domestic housing stock 
·Planning asbestos removal projects  
·Sampling asbestos and working with technicians to analyse results 
·Following and championing Health and Safety guidelines 
·Mentoring more junior members of staff to assist in their development 
 
What do you need?  
To be successful in your application for this role you will need to demonstrate the following on application and through the interview process:  
 
·Qualified in P402 Asbestos Surveying and Sampling 
·Minimum 5 years' experience in Asbestos  
·Clear and demonstratable knowledge of building standards and legislation 
·Ideally qualified in P405 
 
How will you benefit? 
 
Should you be successful in securing this exciting opportunity, you will have work up until March 2021 with the possibility of extension, a rate up between £25 and £30 per hour (umbrella) across a 37.5 hour week and flexible working across site, home and the office.
