Are you an experienced Urban Designer or Senior Urban Designer ready to work on high-impact masterplanning projects across England and Wales? A respected UK planning and design consultancy is currently looking to expand its design team with talented professionals who are passionate about placemaking and have the creative and technical ability to help shape new settlements and neighbourhoods.

About the Role:
This role is ideal for urban designers with over 3 years of UK-based experience who are looking to take the next step in their career. You'll work as part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team on strategic site promotions, outline planning applications, and vision documents.
This position offers the flexibility of hybrid working and a strong career progression pathway, including exposure to project finances, management responsibilities, and continuing professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
·Contribute to and lead on masterplanning and urban design projects
·Prepare and deliver high-quality design and vision documents
·Work closely with planning consultants, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
·Participate in project reviews, team meetings, and design workshops
·Assist with outline planning applications for strategic land developments

Candidate Profile:
We're looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
·A postgraduate qualification in Urban Design from a UK-based institution (essential)
·A background in architecture
·More than 3 years' UK experience in a similar urban design or planning consultancy
·Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and CAD
·Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills
·Strong understanding of UK planning and development processes
·Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship
·Hand drawing skills are a plus
