£31p/h Inside IR35
 
Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
 
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently.
Duties
·To assess and process applications for works to protected trees and notifications for works to trees in conservation areas, providing clear reports to support the recommendations made.
·To provide clear advice to planning officers in relation to proposals for development that may have an impact on trees
·To assess and provide advice on landscaping schemes submitted alongside development proposals.  
·To provide proofs of evidence and act as an expert witness when required for planning and tree work appeals   
·To help deliver the Council's tree protection programme including maintaining the on line statutory TPO register, liaising with the Council's arboriculture and planning policy units, ensuring proper GIS recording of TPO's and agreed work programme of review.
·To respond to complaints about arboriculture matters including high hedge complaints and investigate these in order to consider whether remedial action is required.  To take action with regard to infringements of tree related legislation as appropriate. 
 
On offer is an hourly rate of up to £31p/h depending on experience.
