Transport Modeller
 
I am recruiting for a Transport Modeller to work on a contract basis with a client in the East Midlands.
 
The Transport Modeller will have experience in
 
·Use of AutoCAD to prepare concept junction improvement plans
·Use of ARCADY and Linsig to create, interrogate and evaluate junction performance
·Critical analysis of traffic flow (using data and site observations) to identify causes of congestion
·Preparation of scheme benefit-cost ratios in accordance with WebTAG guidance including through use of TUBA and COBALT
·Use of VISSIM modelling to undertake assessments of complex junctions, including preparation of Local Model Validation reports
