Role: Trainee Water Surveyor
Location: Brentford
Salary: £10.85 per hour - £22,600 based on a 40 hour week  + Overtime
Standard working week: Monday - Friday (possible overtime on Saturday's and Sunday's)
Essential Criteria: YOU MUST live with in 60 mins drive of Brentford
Engagement: Full time temporary to permanent hire over 6 months

I am working with a market leading client who are looking to recruit an Assistant Drainage / Water Engineers based from Brentford or the surrounding areas.
 
In this role you will be working in a site based capacity as part of a 2 person team attached to water projects for Thames Water of which the bulk will pollution tracing.
 
Full training will be provided so no prior experience is required.
Please note only candidates who live within a 60 min drive of Brentford can be considered for this role.
 
Working on site you will be responsible for performing pollution tracing surveys. These surveys will determine if a building is connected correctly to the sewer network. This role will involve being on your feet moving from site to site, and a base level of fitness is required as you will need to remove man holes and drain covers. A typical survey will be carried out by putting dye down a toilet or sink in a property and then seeing if this dye is viable from the nearest drain or man hole (this is carried out by 2 people).
 
This role is based working a Monday - Friday 40 hours per week, overtime is paid at X1.25
