Position: Traffic Management Contracts Manager
Salary: £60-£65,000 per annum
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
My client are a specialist Traffic Management company based within South East London, providing services from temporary traffic lights to lane closures. Following huge contract success within the South East regions, they are looking for a Contracts Manager experienced within Traffic Management to assist them on an exciting new contract in the Southampton/Fareham area.
The ideal candidate for the Contracts Manager job needs to be experienced within the traffic management industry, with some experience within a managerial role and perhaps looking for a step up, or someone wanting to apply their previous contract management expertise to a new and exciting role with a growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
·Team Leadership: Manage a team effectively with great communication skills in order to ensure the contract is delivered smoothly and efficiently
·Client Communications: Liaise with client throughout the contract, ensuring expectations are met and any issues are dealt with
·Site Involvement: Frequent site visits across the South to ensure works are delivered safely and in compliance with client and company expectations
·Health and Safety Assurance: Promoting health and safety within depots and across sites, as well as environmental standards
·Project Monitoring: Reporting regular project status updates to feed back to senior management and key stakeholders
Requirements:
·At least 1-2 years within the traffic management industry
·Experience within a managerial position
·UK Driver's License
·Commuting distance from Fareham/Southampton area
·Associated tickets, including SSSTS and SMSTS
·Lantra qualifications, M1, M2, M5 and M6
·12ab desirable but not essential
·Computer literacy and experienced in Microsoft packages
·Strong communication skills and ability to work with key clients and manage a team
·A willingness to develop and progress within the traffic management industry
The package:
·Salary of £60-£65,000 per annum
