Role:  Lead / Principal Surveyor or Survey Manager - Land Surveying
Salary: £35-45,000 depending on experience + package
Employment: Full time permanent

There is a rare opportunity to join an established company as a company at a Lead / Principal Surveyor or Survey Manager in Birmingham ( City Centre )
 
In this role you will be responsible for setting up, building and growing a land survey department.
 
Depending on your experience you can either operate in a hand on survey capacity and transition into an office based, survey manager role.  Alternatively you can start as a survey manager in on office based capacity.
 
You will be responsible for:
 
·Growing and recruiting Land Surveyors in the Midlands
·Business Development - Maximising existing client and new business
·Financial reporting and delivery of the Land survey team
·Operational project management
·Quality assurance on projects delivered
·Quotation, tenders or pricing work
·Client liaison
 
You will be working side an established Utility Survey team from an office location in Central Birmingham which offers on site parking.
 
In order to be successful you must have:
 
·Proven land surveying experience
·Previous experience of operating at a senior surveyor level or above
·Have experience of tenders or pricing work
 
On offer is a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 + package as a starting rate and further progression is available over time.
