Surfacing Supervisor - Leicester - Up to £50,000

The opportunity
This Site Supervisor role is a chance to be at the forefront of delivering key construction projects in Leicester and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will lead from the front, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. What you'll be doing
·Leading daily site operations, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety standards and company Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
·Planning workloads, directing foremen, and monitoring production to meet contract targets.
·Overseeing quality control and ensuring works meet contract specifications.
·Managing procurement and ordering of materials and plant, balancing efficiency and cost control.
·Maintaining accurate site documentation and liaising with surveyors, engineers, and client representatives.
·Managing plant and equipment to ensure proper use, inspection, and maintenance.
·Building strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to drive continual improvement.
·Supporting and mentoring team members through reviews, development plans, and ongoing coaching.
 
What you'll bring
·Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar within construction or infrastructure projects.
·Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach.
·SSSTS or SMSTS certification and a valid CSCS card.
·A recognised qualification in Health & Safety (IOSH or NEBOSH) would be advantageous.
·Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams effectively.
·A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
·Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic site environment.
