Supervisor - Utilities (Pipelines)

Role: Site Supervisor
Salary: £40k plus (depending on skillset and experience)
Hours: Up to 50 hours per week
Type: Permanent / Full-time

My client is a large civil contractor who work in the Utilities and Oil & Gas industry. They are specialists in pipeline Design, Build, Repair, Maintenance and Diversions. They have several large contracts in the industry working for Gas companies, Oil companies and on Refinery's.  

They work on specialist pipelines with high pressures and within airports among other specialist areas. They are currently looking for a Supervisor to help oversee on their projects across the UK on several projects.

You must be prepared to travel as a result of their projects being spread across the country and there may be requirement to stay away on occasion if travelling and staying on site during the week.
The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering and supervisory background within the Oil & Gas, Pipeline or Utilities industry and be available to start as soon as possible.

You must have Supervisory experience and either SSSTS or SMSTS tickets. Experience of working within the utilities sector and specifically with pipelines would be desirable.

If you are required to stay away then accommodation costs would be covered.

This is a permanent position and offers the opportunity to gain skills in a unique industry and gain industry skills and qualifications such as Manual Handing expertise, First Aid at work, Gas passport and CSCS Gold certification among others if not already held.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Full UK Driving License
• CSCS Card
• Supervisory / Foreman experience
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• EUSR - Gas Passport (Desirable)
