Salary: £37,000 to £45,000
Location: London/South, up to 4 days per week on site, night/weekend work included.

I’m recruiting for an exclusive opportunity with a highly respected consultancy that’s building a dedicated team focused purely on reactive maintenance across the southern rail network.

This is a site-based role with a strong emphasis on getting involved. You’ll be out on site inspecting hidden critical elements, structural assets, and supporting strengthening works.

My client is eager to find someone who can deliver the work whilst pricing jobs, dealing with clients, and managing your workload independently.

Key requirements:
• Valid STE4 and STE5 competencies
• Strong background in structures examinations—ideally with reactive or high-priority works
• Willingness to be site-based 3–4 days per week across the South
• Comfortable with night and weekend work when required
• Full UK driving licence
• Prior experience leading or mentoring others
• A practical, hands-on approach—happy to get stuck in

Interview process will involve at least two stages, including a face-to-face meeting.
