Fantastic opportunity for a Structural CAD Technician to join an established engineering consultancy based in Norwich.
 
Hybrid working available with up to 4 days working from home if preferred.

The company are a well-established civil & structural design consultancy working within a range of buildings projects.
 
Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Structural AutoCAD Technician,  with experience of residential housing developer projects.
 
Experience of working on house builder projects, brownfield sites and foundation design is beneficial.

You will:

·Play an important part in the detailing and modelling of a range of residential foundation and superstructure projects 
·Fully experienced in AutoCAD 2D
·Liaise closely with engineers to ensure accurate drawing representation
·Carry out layout drawings
·Attending Design team meetings
·RC detailing experience preferred but not essential
·Revit training provided

 
Requirements:

Hold either an ONC/OND or HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering (Desirable but not essential)
Experience within a consultancy-based role
Experience in residential foundation drawings and residential super structure
Have experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD with proven track record in delivering high standards of draughtsmanship
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
