Job description

Long-Term Contract for a Hands-On Civils Supervisor - Major Thames Water Upgrade in Oxfordshire

Are you a civils Supervisor with heavy water-industry experience who leads from the front? A critical upgrade project for Sewage Treatment Works (STW) needs a proactive Site Supervisor who isn't afraid to get stuck in. This project will need someone who drives progress, maintains rigorous safety standards, and motivates the team on the ground.

You'll join at the very start of a multi-year upgrade. The facility forms part of Thames Water's wider programme to increase treatment capacity, reduce storm spills, and modernise ageing infrastructure. While some environmental schemes across the network have faced delays, this upgrade remains a key element of the long-term improvement strategy.

As Site Supervisor, you'll lead a civils gang on-site, overseeing day-to-day operations with a strong emphasis on deep excavations, trench boxes, trenching, and temporary works. Your leadership will directly contribute to bringing this essential upgrade on track.

This role offers genuine long-term stability within a major 5-year Thames Water framework, with a clear pipeline of work and involvement from mobilisation onwards. You could earn £300-£320 per day (CIS) depending on experience.

You'll be part of a collaborative, proactive team where everyone pulls their weight. If you value hands-on leadership and want to contribute to a project that will genuinely improve local river health and reduce sewage spills, this is your opportunity for a happy new year.

You'll stand out with:
·SSSTS & CSCS
·Water/wastewater supervision experience
·Strong knowledge of deep excavations & temporary works
·A proactive, hands-on approach
·Bonus: Thames Water Passport and/or CPCS/machine tickets
