Our client is a large civil contractor that work across all utilities sectors. they have an excellent reputation for providing specialist services in the industry. This role would be working in their Power division, which is a well establish division working with several DNO's across the UK. They have several partnerships with DNO's and work on some of the biggest projects in the industry.
We are currently looking for a Site Manager to work on a 7 month project in Uxbridge. This role will be supporting the Project manger on site, working on a sub station build. The team you are supporting the build and looking after 11kv to 132kv build and maintenance.  Including the build of new switchhouses and transformer enclosures linked to switchgear, transformers and cabling.
The role offers wither PAYE or Umbrella payment and would require you getting to site daily. There is a possibility this role could develop into a permanent opportunity if this interests you.
·Managing operatives and sub contractors
·Identifying training requirements due to skillset of safety needs
·Develop and implement safety documents and site safety procedures
·Audits for the DNO
·Procurement of materials
·As build handover files to be completed
·Notify employer of any changes or developments in the schedule
·Construction, Civil Engineering or Electrical HNC or Degree
·Sub Station Entry
·Temporary Works Supervisor ticket
·NEC contract knowledge
·CITB Manager Safety qualification
·A background in Construction or Electrical builds
·Competent to work on up to 132kv sub station builds
·H&S knowledge - continuously updated
·Cost & value reporting experience (Desirable)
·Full UK Driving License
·Good MS office IT skills
