Site Manager
 
Salary: £50,000-£55,000
 
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Senior Site Manager, the Site Manager will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects, ensuring the achievement of customers' objectives while maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality, social, environmental impact, and cost control.
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 
·Plan projects and ensure they are programmed in detail to facilitate smooth project delivery and avoid delays, driving best value.
·Deliver projects in compliance with group policies and procedures.
·Take ownership of financial forecasting, monitoring, and control of project costs, promoting cost reporting and commercial awareness.
·Produce regular reports on project performance, team building, and resource management.
·Establish and maintain effective commercial engagement and management of the supply chain.
·Chair and attend internal and external meetings, ensuring accurate records of discussions and actions.
·Lead effective cost control measures and collaborate closely with operations and commercial managers for Project Controls, Change Management, Planning, Risk Management, Finance, and Procurement.
·Act as the main point of contact for projects, ensuring effective communication and understanding of client needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
 
·NVQ/HNC/HND Level or equivalent experience.
·CSCS Gold/Black Card, SMSTS, TWC or TWS, and CSCS are essential.
·Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
·Good working knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regs, and Design management.
·First Aid at Work (3-day) certification.
·Desirable qualifications and skills include:
·SEATS and Underground Services (IOSH) training.
·Proven ability and experience delivering Civil Engineering projects, managing projects from tender handover to completion.
·Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
·Ability to develop positive customer relations and foster teamwork.
·Experience with NEC3/4 contracts and good knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and relevant industry regulations.
·Proficiency in challenging designs, resolving problems, and producing accurate plans and drawings.
·Ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
·Strong Microsoft Project skills.
·Previous experience in assisting with the tendering process would be desirable.
·Excellent people management skills with the ability to motivate employees to achieve
