Site Engineer - Highways & Earthworks
Contract | Early 2026 Start | Northamptonshire

We're currently recruiting on behalf of a leading highways contractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Site Engineer to support a major highways project in Northamptonshire, starting early 2026.

This role will suit a hands-on engineer with strong setting-out capability and experience working within a highways and earthworks environment.

The Role

·Setting out for highways and earthworks works
·Producing and maintaining as-built records
·Completing quality documentation in line with project requirements
·Supporting day-to-day engineering activities on site
·Working closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure accurate delivery

Essential Requirements

·Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways projects
·Strong setting out capability
·Experience with as-built generation
·Highways and earthworks experience essential
·Good understanding of quality processes and site documentation

Desirable

·Competent with surveying equipment and engineering software
·Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
