Position: Site Engineer

Location: Southampton region

Hourly Rate: £37.50 (Outside IR35)

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of major highway projects in the Southampton region. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the quality of construction activities on site.

Responsibilities:
·Conducting surveys and setting out site activities according to engineering plans and specifications.
·Monitoring the progress of construction work and ensuring adherence to project schedules.
·Collaborating with the project team to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
·Performing quality control checks on materials, workmanship, and finished works.
·Providing technical support and guidance to the site staff and subcontractors.
·Maintaining accurate records of site activities, measurements, and as-built drawings.

Requirements:
·CSCS card.
·SSSTS or SMSTS ticket.
·Proven experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry.
·Strong knowledge of highway construction techniques and processes.
·Proficiency in using surveying instruments, CAD software, and other relevant tools.
·Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
·Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
