Are you a Site Engineer with strong setting out experience in the construction industry?
 
I am currently exclusively working with a contractor who are successfully delivering work for the Southern Water framework.
 
They currently have a requirement for a Site Engineer to join their team for upcoming development works attached to a wastewater treatment site in Haywards Heath.
 
The role will be primarily based from the Haywards Heath site, with occasional travel to other sites required when appropriate.
 
As a Site Engineer you must be able to check plans, drawings and setting out co-ordinations, as well as support the Project Manager with day to day running of the site, including surveying and reporting progress.
 
Experience working with modern survey methods and devices, including global navigation satellite systems and data collectors, as well as the ability to process data from the field into the office using post-processing software such as AutoCAD, is essential to being successful in this position.
 
Key skills and experience:
·Setting out experience (including levelling and traversing)
·Experience working with modern survey methods and devices
·Wastewater/Water sector experience
·Taking accountability for and overseeing junior team members
·Excellent communication skills
·Full clean driving licence
 
This can be a fast-paced ever-changing environment, so candidates need to be able to adapt to change and prioritise workloads accordingly.
