Job Title: Site Agent
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 + Package
Location: Lincolnshire, UK
I am currently working with a major Tier 1 civil engineering contractor to recruit a Site Agent for a key highways infrastructure project in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a thriving business with a strong pipeline of secured work and career progression opportunities.
The Role:
As Site Agent, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a busy urban highways project. Working closely with your Project Manager, engineers, and subcontractors, you will ensure the works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Key Responsibilities:
·Leading and managing site operations across all phases of delivery
·Ensuring all works are completed in line with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
·Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and direct labour
·Maintaining accurate site records, progress reports, and programme updates
·Managing permits, temporary works, and traffic management in collaboration with the wider team
·Acting as the main point of contact on site for client representatives and stakeholders
·Leading daily briefings, toolbox talks and ensuring site compliance
·Supporting junior engineers and promoting a positive team culture
What We're Looking For:
·Proven experience in a Site Agent or Senior Engineer role within highways/civils
·Strong leadership and organisational skills
·Ability to manage complex urban infrastructure works with multiple interfaces
·SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified
·Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
·Full UK driving licence
