My client is an industry leading civil engineering contractor based in the South, who provide a comprehensive range of civil engineering, rail and environmental services with specialist expertise in highways maintenance.
From bridge reconstruction to groundworks, drainage schemes to vehicle restraint systems, they plan, build, repair, maintain, refurbish, and recycle throughout their organisation and have built a solid reputation for reliability and exceptional service delivery.
 
 

The Role:
 
I am now looking for an experienced Site Agent in the South East area, who will work with the operations and works managers to efficiently deliver projects to customers' expectations, attaining exceptional levels of Health and Safety Performance maximising financial return.
 
Already experienced within Highways and construction, you will have excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
 
Duties will include:

• Contributing towards the successful delivery of the schemes.
• Complying with Company procedures and legal obligations at all times, promoting best practice
• Contributing towards the cost plan and management for the schemes.

The Candidate:

With the office location close to Heathrow candidates within an easy commute of this will be much preferred. However, covering an area of London, the M25, Hertfordshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire and occasionally further a field, all applicants within this area will also be considered.

You must have proven Highways experience with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the construction industry is essential. You will also have strong knowledge and experience with the High Speed Network, Section 278 works, Local Authority works, Drainage, Kerbing, Embankment Stabilisation, Groundworks and civils within Highways.

Necessary qualifications and training will include

• Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid at work (3 day)
• Working Knowledge of NEC Contracts conditions, CDM Regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.
• Microsoft Project planning software
• HE Passport

Package:

• £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
