We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Agent to manage highways schemes in the West and East Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in highways construction and maintenance, with specific experience in National Highways and drainage projects.

Key Responsibilities:
·Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of highways schemes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
·Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project specifications.
·Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
·Conduct regular site inspections and audits, addressing any issues or non-compliance promptly.
·Manage and document site activities, including progress reports, risk assessments, and method statements.
·Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
·Implement and maintain traffic management plans and strategies.
·Ensure effective drainage system implementation and maintenance as part of the highways schemes.

Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Site Agent or in a similar role in highways construction and maintenance.
·Extensive knowledge of National Highways standards and requirements.
·Strong experience in drainage systems related to highways projects.
·Excellent leadership and team management skills.
·In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·Valid CSCS card and relevant construction qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, NVQ Level 6/7 in Construction Management).
·Full UK driving license.
