Job description
Are you a Signalling Project Engineer with experience working on Network Rail projects?
Do you have experience as a Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE), Designated Project Engineer (DPE), or Contractors Engineering Manager(CEM)?
Location: Birmingham - Hybrid Working (3 Days Office)
Contract Length: 6 months
Pay Rate: £600 - £700 Per Day Inside IR35 (Paid Umbrella)
Job Description:
You will act as Designated Project Engineer, covering the assurance and integration of multi discipline railway projects, working primarily on Minor signalling renewals / life extension works. You will Implement Network Rail systems and procedures, undertake Competence management, as well as carry out inspections and carry out audits of internal and external signalling staff. You may also be required to undertake Construction CRE and CEM duties when required.
Requirements:
·Experience operating as either Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE), Designated Project Engineer (DPE), or Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) on Rail Signalling.
·A background experience of Rail Signalling on Network Rail infrastructure.
·IRSE License.
·CDM, risk assessment, engineering management competency..
Preferred:
·Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body.
·Project safety management experience
