Role: Service Manager (Water)
Location: Coalville
Salary: up to £30,000 - £35,000 p/a plus package

My client, who specialises in commercial water treatment systems, wash water reclamation systems and other associated equipment including design, installation and maintenance are looking for an effective Service Manager with strong communication and organisational skills.
The role demands a confident multi-tasker who can learn aspects of the technical side of the business, therefore the ability to retain information is key.The role is at times integrated with the role of the field manager therefore a good working relationship is key to ensure both roles work closely together for the best interests of the department and staff within.
- Working in small to medium sized organisation you are required to lead by example and 'pitch in' as necessary.
- Training (both internal and external) will be provided where necessary.
- You will need to demonstrate a good all-round/diverse skill set, a keen desire to learn and to develop your own areas of competence
- A proactive, flexible and 'can do' approach is paramount to success in this role
Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Work safely and effectively whilst meeting service department requirements such as;
- Customer interactions, securing and renewing contracts, planning, and understanding ppm's and repairs whilst ensuring you meet the demand and requirement of each contract.
- Ensuring each engineers work schedule is accurate, effective, and efficient whilst minimising costs and unnecessary hours for field staff.
- Book sub-contractors as required and ensure good working relationships.
- Raise purchase orders for service department and stock orders for engineers where required. Process incoming sales orders and process quotations for works generated within the service department.
- Provide a high level of customer service and customer account commitment with a sales-minded commercial attitude to develop long lasting customer relations.
- Support the service administrator to complete tasks in a timely manner and continue to grow skill set.
- Maintain engineer external training qualifications through managing expiry dates and allowing time to renew as required.
- Working with the managing director and field manager, ensure H&S and quality control in field and office activities, ensuring auditing requirements are met through key planning.
- Meet set targets to achieve cost efficiency and growth in service sales and figures.
- Strive to assist with maintaining accreditations already secured or seeking to gain alongside the management team and managing director.
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, and ensure service department adheres to all regulations following training
Working Hours:
Mon to Thurs 8.30am - 5pm
Fri - 8.30am - 4pm
