Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in the East of England in the search for an experienced Town Planning Technician for an initial 6-month contract (Then rolling). The post can be offered on a fully remote basis, although some flexibility with office presence would be beneficial.
 
Experience and skills:
·Previous experience of providing Admin support to a Development Management Team
·Experience of Validating Planning Applications
·Experience of using Uniform Software
·Good Customer Service skills
 
Activities will include:
·Registration of Planning applications (Postal/ Planning Portal/ electronic)
·Assessing valid/ invalid applications
·Admin processing of consultation responses/ letters of representation
·Dealing with customer enquires
·Plotting applications
·Database management
·Retrieval of files
