Senior Town Planner

In this role, you'll take the lead on planning projects from start to finish, offering strategic advice on planning policies, preparing and submitting applications, and supporting clients through appeals and feasibility studies. Working closely with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, you'll help ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standards. Collaboration is key here, whether that's working alongside architects, engineers, or mentoring junior colleagues to help them grow and develop their skills.
We're looking for someone with a strong planning background, ideally with experience in a consultancy environment. A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline and Chartered RTPI status are essential, alongside proven knowledge of UK planning legislation, policies, and procedures. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must, and being able to work independently as well as part of a team will help you thrive in this role. Proficiency in relevant planning software is also highly desirable.
