Job Opportunity: Senior Town Planner, Principal Town Planner, or Associate Director
Location: Cardiff or Exeter Office with flexible hybrid working available
Sector: Strategic Sites & Large-Scale Planning Applications
We are assisting one of our clients, a successful and dynamic planning consultancy, as they expand their team to support a growing portfolio of projects across Wales and England. With offices in Cardiff and Exeter, they foster a supportive, close-knit working environment and boasts a diverse client base ranging from private individuals and Housing Associations to volume house builders and landowners.
The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced planning professional to work on strategic site promotion and large-scale planning applications, primarily focused on residential and mixed-use urban extensions in the South of England. This is an excellent opportunity for a planner with a strong background in development management and planning policy, and experience ranging from 4 to 15+ years. The role can be positioned at Senior Planner, Principal Planner, or Associate director level, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead or contribute to strategic site promotion
·Manage large-scale residential and mixed-use planning applications
·Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including private individuals, contractors, housing associations, and volume house builders
·Contribute to a positive team environment, delivering high-quality work
What We're Looking For:
·Strong understanding of UK planning policy and development management
·Excellent written communication skills
·Team player with the ability to work collaboratively
·Adaptability to handle a variety of projects
