Job Title: Senior Town Planner - Regeneration
Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
Are you ready to take the next step in your town planning career, or are you already an experienced Senior Town Planner with a background in regeneration? We're partnering with a renowned multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in the built environment and property, seeking a proactive and client-facing Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic team.
About the Role: As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in leading regeneration projects across the region, working within a multi-disciplinary team of urban designers, architects, and other experts. You will have the opportunity to manage clients, oversee project deliverables, and ensure timely delivery by managing sub-contractors effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead on planning projects with a focus on regeneration
·Liaise directly with clients, providing strategic advice and fostering long-term relationships
·Analyse complex information and prepare detailed reports and planning applications
·Project management, ensuring smooth delivery from inception through to completion
·Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including architects and urban designers
·Attend networking and CPD events within the built environment and property sectors
·Contribute to business development activities, with the ability to bring in work (if from a consultancy background)
·Manage sub-contractors and ensure project delivery to the highest standards
·Keep abreast of planning reforms and trends, referencing key market projects
About You:
·A proven background in town planning, with a focus on regeneration
·Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, with experience in report writing and client management
·Proactive and confident, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
·Strong project management skills and experience managing sub-contractors
·Able to embed within a team and adapt to a collaborative working culture
·Comfortable networking and attending industry events
·Experience working in a consultancy environment is ideal, with the ability to bring in new business a plus
