We are currently recruiting for a Senior/Principal Infrastructure Engineer to deliver a broad range of complex Civil and Structural and related services in temporary works. This is a long-term contract opportunity which can offer flexible working between the office and home.
 
This position is deemed inside IR35.
 
The role
 
You'll produce temporary and permanent works designs for highways, drainage and infrastructure on a major civil engineering project. You'll ensure temporary works designs are integrated with permanent Works and provide engineering input to support tender schemes. As part of your role, you'll be tasked with providing technical assessment of 3rd party designs and provide both engineering expertise and technical advice to support engineering excellence and resolve technical project, construction and design issues to ensure the highest of technical standards. Ideally, you'll have previous temporary works experience and be an Incorporated or Chartered member of a relevant professional institution and have demonstrable post-graduate experience. You'll also have strong recent design experience working within multi-disciplinary projects.
 
Key experience required
 
·Extensive experience in drainage, earthworks and road design
·Proficient in Causeway Flow or Microdrainage (WinDES)
·Proficient in Civil 3D
·Experience working independently, leading project design
·Basic project management experience
