Summary of Role:
As a key member of the finance team, this role involves the day-to-day management of the purchase ledger function.
Day-to-day tasks include:
·Purchase Ledger processing:
oUploading supplier invoices onto the accounting software.
oProcessing supplier invoices, matching against purchase orders and GRN's.
oSupplier statement reconciliations.
oResolution of invoice queries with stores and procurement.
·Ad hoc tasks:
oHandling any occasional responsibilities that may arise, such as year-end audit support, setting up new employees on concur, etc.
Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
·AAT Part Qualified (not essential).
·Previous experience in a purchase ledger position.
·Proficiency in using Excel and accounting software.
·Attention to detail and accuracy.
·Strong communication skills.
