Are you a Senior Project Manager with extensive working knowledge of NEC3 contracts?
 
Do you have a civil background and looking to work on HS2?
 
My client are a leading ecology consultancy who have secured some major packages on HS2 within the Colne Valley and Buckinghamshire areas. They are looking for a senior PM with excellent commercial awareness to join their team on a contract basis.
 
Start date: within the next 3 weeks
 
Contract length: 6 months +
 
Pay rate: DOE
 
Senior Project Manager needed to undertake a new project involving ecological mitigation and moving ancient woodland, this is predominately a civils based project and anyone with remediation or earthworks experience would be of much interest to my client.
 
The client is working on a NEC3 contract and extensive NEC3 experience is absolutely essential for this position, they will be working on an option E - cost +. For this position you must be highly commercially astute as you will be putting together  application for payments at month end and have whole responsibility of managing the contract.
 
This will be working for a client who expects excellence on their schemes  so the ideal candidate will need to expect the client to be on site regularly and be proactive in responding to any queries. Excellent client relations is a must and having the ability to make judgement of when and when not to accommodate client requests will be essential for this role.
 
Maintaining excellent paperwork throughout the scheme will be another essential element of the role including producing of RAMS, help write and monitor ITP's, TW's, lift plans, permits and working plans.
 
The role will involve managing the client who are one of the HS2 main contractors and also managing the groundwork subcontractor.
 
Requirements:
·Senior PM or contracts manager with extensive knowledge of NEC3
·Excellent background within Civils especially remediation, earthworks or landscaping
·Commercially astute with ability to create monthly applications for payment
