Initially a 4 month contract  this Local Planning Authority are looking for an experienced Planning Policy Officer to join their team.
 
The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Head of Planning Policy, r in delivering the Planning Service supporting Planning Strategy and Implementation, to ensure the delivery of the Development Plan (and other projects). The council will shortly be going into public examination and initially they require assistance in preparation for this.
 
The post holder will be part of the Planning Service and will support the Planning Strategy and Implementation Team for the refinement of Local Development Plans, Joint Strategic Plans, Supplementary Planning Documents, Neighbourhood Plans, and Development Monitoring Services.
 
The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience within a Local Planning Authority.  Ideally
you will be MRTPI qualified.
 
Pay rate is negotiable depending on experience with the role being deemed inside IR35. There is a hybrid working arrangement but you will be mainly working form hom.
