Senior Planning Officer
£32p/h Inside IR35
Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
You will be mainly working from home, with the exception of site visits and key meetings.
This newly created role is because of an increase in workload due to continued development in the local area. The local authority is looking to bring in an experienced planner that can hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
You will be required to work both individually and as part of a team to continue the high level of service that the local authority operate to currently. You will be managing a mixed caseload of applications so must be comfortable with this variety including major applications.
To be successful in this position you MUST HAVE:
·3 years experience working in a LPA.
·Be comfortable working from home and using Microsoft Teams/Zoom
·Comfortable managing mixed case load including major applications.
·Please note this role would suit an experienced planning officer looking to make the step up to senior planning officer OR a senior planning officer looking for more responsibility.
There will be a wide range of projects including major applications for mixed use town centre developments, new housing schemes, industrial sites, school proposals and development in the green belt.
On offer is an hourly rate of up to £32 depending on experience.
