Job Role - Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location - Malton

Contract Length - 6 Months

Pay Rates - Up To £53 hour

The ideal candidate for this role will have a wealth of experience in the field of small mechanisms and remote handling. They will also have spent a good amount of time as a senior mechanical engineer in the nuclear sector.

Key Experiences:

• Time spent working on small mechanisms
• Experience working on remote handling projects
• Nuclear sector experience desirable (design, analysis, technical substantiation
• Experience of delivery of technical projects and services.
• Work from the study phase to the concept design all the way through to detail design
• Deliver engineering design solutions throughout the full design lifecycle, including checking and reviewing (and preparation when required) of 2D drawings, 3D models, hand
• Collaborative approach when it comes to working with other teams and an ability to demonstrate high level communications
• Develop, control and monitor plans and matching procedures
• Design, deliver and evaluate the technical governance of projects

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• (Advantageous) Knowledge and experience using digital tools to deliver engineering solutions (e.g. laser scanning, virtual and/or augmented reality, mixed reality).
• Have at minimum 5 years in mechanical engineering at the senior level
• Have minimum 10 years in highly regulated industries
