Our client is a leading engineering company, supporting Nuclear projects at Sellafield
They seek a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their busy team and assist them in completing a critical project on the Sellafield Nuclear site.
 
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
·Delivery of mechanical engineering documents for your assigned project scope.
·Production and/or modification of engineering designs, ensuring conformance to the client's standards
·Producing packages of engineering deliverables required to carry out construction or installation works, including CAD work for drawings to be updated.
·Providing engineering support to colleagues in procurement and site construction/commissioning functions.
 
To be successful, you must have experience in or hold:
 
·Degree qualified
·Clear  experience of legislation compliance such as:
o Machineries regulations
oH&S files
oDesign Change closure
oO&M manuals.
·Working knowledge of design methods and techniques within Mechanical engineering
·Familiar with relevant engineering design codes and standards.
·AutoCAD experience
·Supply chain (Vendor) support.
·Nuclear experience
