Senior Engineer - Highway Drainage

3-month contract initially, extension likely

Negotiable rate dependant on experience, £30 - £40 per hour
 

Are you an experienced Highway Engineer looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for a Highway Engineer, with drainage experience, to join a busy client in Hampshire. This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £30 - £40 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Responsible for designing or managing the design of minor capital drainage schemes, ensuring the technical, economic, environmental and safety aspects are considered, followed by managing the delivery of the works on the ground.
·Responsible for undertaking investigative works to understand how drainage networks operate, including site visits to determine connectivity and undertaking or managing level surveys where appropriate.
·Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in an operational area of the service's work, delivering projects and/or services which meet local and national highway and transportation objectives, targets and safety standards.
 

About You:
