My client is a leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure consultancy, working on major projects across the UK.  As a Senior Ecologist in the Sustainable Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure projects.  My client is offering hybrid working on an initial 3 month contract with a view to extend.
 
The Role
·Lead and manage environmental assessments, impact studies, and compliance evaluations for infrastructure projects.
·Conduct comprehensive environmental audits to identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
·Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
·Provide expert advice on best environmental practices, sustainability, and conservation measures.
·Develop and implement innovative solutions to minimize project environmental impact.
·Drive effective health and safety practices within the team.
 
The Ideal Candidate
·Developed expertise in environmental consulting, gained in a similar role.
·Ability to produce technically sound solutions, complying with standards and client requirements.
·Experienced in managing health, safety, and welfare in projects.
·Proficient in relevant software and analytical tools.
·Demonstrated commercial awareness.
·Chartered Environmentalist status, reflecting your commitment to excellence.
