Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer

The Leeds office are considering candidates from a more Junior background looking to move into a senior role and the more senior candidates looking for a change. This role requires a Geotechnical Engineer well-rehearsed in Geotechnical reports and tunneling design. The consultancy reports and designs will be used to support Highways England and Network Rail for approval of Tunneling Projects across England.
 
Typical Candidates will need:
·At least 4-5 years of experience working with in a Geotechnical focused role.
·Experience in Shaft Design and opening support structures.
·Excavation Stability and support, with a thorough understanding of geotechnical principals for shoring techniques and design of sheet pile
·Earth work stability, slope stability analysis & soil nailing
·Tunnelling impact assessments
·You will have a high level of technical skill with accomplished geotechnical design skills and a sound structural grounding.
·You will have a sound understanding of health and safety regulations, design risk assessment for your field of expertise, and be capable of identifying geotechnical risk
