My client is a fast-growing, award-winning Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Transport Planning consultancy working across residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. You will join a collaborative team delivering fast-paced and technically challenging schemes for developers, architects and local authorities.
 
In this Senior Civil Engineering Technician role, you will be:
·Working within a Civil Engineering design team delivering drainage systems, highway layouts and S278/S38 schemes
·Supporting engineers with project work across a variety of project types and stages
·Mentoring junior staff and supporting their development
·Producing and reviewing drawings using AutoCAD and Site 3D
·Working closely with developers, architects and local authorities within a design office environment
·Improving team processes through knowledge sharing activities
·Applying sound technical principles to identify and resolve design challenges
·Completing work with due consideration for quality, safety and environmental impact
 
To be considered for this Senior Civil Engineering Technician position, you will ideally have:
·Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) and Site3D (preferred)
·Experience using vehicle tracking software for a range of manoeuvres
·Experience working with local authorities, developers and architects
·A degree or HND in Civil Engineering (preferred but not essential)
·Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
·A proactive approach to CPD and continuous professional development
 
Your salary will be £35,000 - £42,000 per year dependent on experience, reflecting your capability as a Senior Civil Engineering Technician. You will also benefit from:

You will be based within a regional office environment, working alongside multidisciplinary teams on varied infrastructure schemes.
