Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in the East of England in the search of a Senior CIL & S106 Officer on an initial 3-month contract (Then rolling).
 
We are looking for a Senior Officer who has a proven record of experience across infrastructure planning, preparing an Infrastructure Delivery Plan, producing the Infrastructure Funding Statement, dealing with infrastructure providers, assessing applications for CIL grants and reporting to Members, monitoring allocations of CIL funding and advising on expressions of interest for CIL funding.
 
It would be beneficial for the post holder to have a Degree or postgraduate diploma in town and country planning or relevant subject such as geography, environmental science, sustainability or geology; and have an in depth knowledge of the UK planning system.
 
The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and must be familiar with CIL Regulations and have a strong understanding of the strategic planning context.
 
Carrington West Pay Rate - £40 to £45per/hour
