I have been asked this afternoon to recruit for my client based in the South East for a total of 3 vacancies.
 
They require assistance for full time positions, and need applicants to be able to undertake site visits for caseload.
 
" Requirements:
2 x Principal Planning Officers - to have RTPI status and experience in major applications and delegated responsibilities. Officers would need to be available for Planning Committee (once every 4 weeks in person in the Council Chamber) and would have delegated responsibility to determine application. They would also provide mentoring for some members of the Planning team and provide assistance when needed to our Validation team. It would be ideal if they have experience in an authority with Green Belt designation.
 
1 x Senior Planning Officer - to have RTPI status and experience in minor applications. The officer would need to be available for Planning Committee (once every 4 weeks in person in the Council Chamber). They would also provide assistance to other members of the Planning team and Validation team. It would be ideal if they have experience in an authority with Green Belt designation. "

To be successful in this position you MUST BE:
·A Qualified Town Planner with significant experience within a Local Authority Planning Department
