Are you a Risk and Value Manager keen to work in the Rail industry?
 
The selected candidate will provide a specialist Risk and Value Management (R&VM) assurance and support service to project and programme teams. To drive and embed R&VM Culture across the project and programme community.
 
Duration: 6 months
Location: London
Rate: £450-550/day Umbrella (Inside IR35)
 
Requirements:
·Competent in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation
·Able to build complicated cost, schedule and business risk models in a number of applications
·Be classed as a "Specialist" in the Leadership Competencies or be capable of attaining this level within a defined period.
·Membership of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management Risk Practitioner
 
Responsibilities:
 
·Maintain risk registers whilst ensuring the outcome of workshops and interviews is accurately reflected.
·Ensure that risks are kept up to date and that aggregated risks are identified and escalated where necessary including liaison with other Risk Practitioners.
·Assist with the development and review of Risk Management products and standard templates, work with managers to help identify, assess, manage, review, monitor, report and communicate key risks which could affect business aims and objectives.
·Analyse risk data to produce reports and briefings to support and inform managers.
·Facilitate workshops and ensure that risks are translated throughout the department.
·Provide leadership and guidance in the concept of R&VM, maintaining their appropriate and effective application to all stages of the project life cycle.
·Deliver Level 1 Assurance activities as specified by the Principal R&V Manager.
·Manage &/or deliver specialist R&VM support services as dictated by the R&VM maturity of the project community.
·Monitor the output of others who undertake such R&VM activities to monitor competence, consistency and compliance with Network Rail procedures and provide assurance.
·Manage the buying in of external R&VM support where necessary and that these are delivered to required quality standards.
·Maintain a robust view of required levels of R&VM services and assure that suitably qualified & experienced resource is available to meet these requirements.
·Drive the implementation of ER&VM framework across their area
