Job description

Our client is a large Infrastructure and Utilities company, working across several projects in the UK. They are the backbone to a lot of the UK's infrastructure projects and bringing Utilities to peoples homes. With experience across the Water, Power, Gas and Telecoms sectors, they are a market leader in providing solutions for large projects essential to the delivery of telecoms to domestic properties and businesses.
 
They are currently working on a Telecoms project, working on the civil and fibre side of the Superfast Broadband roll-out. As a main contractor they have several projects across the UK and work with the main Telecom's ISP's.  
 
As part of this project, they are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a large project in Kent. This will be working along side the Senior QS and reporting to the Commercial manager. Looking at sub contractor payments, commercial assets and working closely with the Project Managers to measure the utility works.
 
You will need to be happy to work on site 4/5 days a week, travel using your own can. The role is an ongoing contract position.
 
 
Responsibilities:
 
·Review contracts
·Deliver monthly presentations on CVR reports
·Contract administration of multiple projects
·Adhere to company procedures
·Produce and review subcontract agreements and review subcontract accounts
·Develop and deliver margin improvement plans
 
 
Requirements:
 
·Experience of managing multiple £1m+ projects
·2 years or more experience
·Utilities project experience
·Telecoms experience (Desirable)
·Can work independently
·Previous Management Skills and experience
·Ability to work closely with clients
·Knowledge of NEC3/4 contracts
·RICS qualified (Desirable)
